There are a lot of upcoming changes to TheBionicWoman.com - I am sorry that I can't really discuss it right now, I am still working with the people that the new structure is being developed with.

What I would like you to do is be prepared for the removal of the episode player as part of this transition.

That said, because I created it myself from the ground up, I have decided to include it on my personal website as an example of my design work.

That would be here - http://www.stevenlutz.com/examples.html - at the bottom of the page.

It is as functional there as it is here, so feel free to help yourself.
Hope all are well,

SURRENDER DOROTHY! In the final episode of The Bionic Woman, Jaime has some tough choices to make. Chocolate covered caramel or truffles?

"Jaime totally loses it, Oscar loses it and adopts Max on his way out, and then Jaime has a total emotional breakdown while she's packing, breaks her bed, smashes her fist into the mirror, and then just when I can't take it any more, no Jaime DEARRR GODDDD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

NOT THE FETAL POSITION!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch. Nothing kills me more than seeing Jaime reduced to this crouched position in total despair. (Thumb sucking optional.) If you know what I'm talking about, then you probably also know the names of the other 2 episodes where Jaime completely cracked under pressure like this and fell to the floor. The point where the Bionic Woman is at her absolute weakest. This ENTIRELY breaks my heart."

Read the episode review here.

For most Bionic Woman fans, this one is the “holy grail.” It has been one of the most difficult episodes for me to review in the typical Bionic Blonde format due to the intense drama that was so untypical for this series. When Jaime isn’t happy, this upsets my whole universe.

But what an incredible series finale from top to bottom. Awesome script and performances... not exactly the perfect ending that I had hoped for Jaime, but we only had to wait 9 more years for that. ;-)

2 for 1 MARGARITAS!
This week our Bionic Woman is forced to compete on Dancing With The Stars.

"Ay carumba. Jaime, I am so, SO, sorry. (Evidently she has something in her contract that requires her to perform bionic burlesque at least once per season. I don’t know why.) But alas, the time has come for Jaime to have to prove to the network cheez and the bad guys she’s a gifted Spanish dancer, so she is forced to prance for them in the saloon—or face a firing squad as a “police spy.”

Read the full episode review here.

After being spoiled by a few good episodes lately that reminded me why this character and series had truly earned its place in television history, it was kinda disappointing that they had to swing the pendulum back to this shallower level of camp and silliness at the end. Or perhaps it was by design ahead of the news of cancellation, to remind us why they were circling the drain at NBC.

Anyway, this was the last BW episode that I had never seen, so it was kind of sad to have this 3rd season excitement of watching 'new episodes' in 2012 end. And now it's time to stock up on tissues and revisit the series finale "On The Run." Sniff.
Woo-Hoo! Hold on, as we all hail a cab with our favorite Bionic Blonde. This week we are treated to OSI: NY for some fabulous fashions, a run-in with the Sopranos, Seinfeld, and a totally gay King. I heart this show!

"The Empress’ New Clothes: Before she even arrived at Oscar’s surprise New York office location (so, is he like a chain of H&R Blocks now?), Jaime had clearly already been to Tiffany’s. When she exited this posh establishment glittering from head to toe, she obviously hailed a taxi and hit some more fashion retailers, including Saks, Barney’s and Bloomingdales, all on the company plastic, of course. She needs this for her new assignment."
Despite the Not!Steve factor, I thought this was actually a fairly good episode. The script was better than average for this season, the bionic action scenes were executed with a bit more sophistication, and the wardrobe and jewelry.... zing!
We never know what path we will end up on, and sadly addiction is probably one of the only things that can take us away from the truly benevolent path the universe has in store for us. I know this personally, as I know do any of you that have fought with addiction. It is not an easy battle to win.

So tonight, as I watch the Grammy's, I am thankful for what she brought to life and the world of music. At the same time I am grateful to all the artists that she has influenced that stepped forth with great talent to keep that legacy moving.
I know that Whitney Houston has learned where broken hearts go, they DO find they way home, and I believe that she in in peace.

This week Jaime hosts aliens and a cooking show. Whatever. I still want her life. There were a few bright "sun spots" (ha ha) in this episode for someone like me who just enjoys watching Jaime, but for the most part, it was not a story I particularly care to go back and watch again.

"This blonde haired, young princess (incidentally, destined to star in her own TV show and win Emmys one day) dressed in her matching Snuggie, ready to sacrifice her life for her country, who is all charm and compassion and politeness… keeps reminding me of someone… OMG, she's Jaime's “Mini-Me!!”

The Episode So Nice, They Named It Twice. As frightening as the title was, The Martians Are Coming x2 (I am too lazy to type it again) was really not a half bad episode. What sadly ruins it is the 50s sci-fi cheese that went into the special effects of this UFO.
"...So in the late 70s modern age of Darth Vader and realistic CGI galactic battles with the Death Star, someone on The Bionic Woman post production team apparently dropped acid and proudly generated the “Meth Star.” It was trippin' and glowed neon orange and sounded like a Sears lawn mower."

Jaime wrecks her car and calls in progressively sick this week. But can they save her in time with this Antidote?

http://www.bionicblonde.com/bionic_blond...idote.html

"Jaime started getting blurry vision while driving and couldn't see a darned thing. But rather than pull over to let the sober designated driver take the wheel, she decided to continue on until she could plow this old Ford heap into an oncoming van and get her Mercedes back."

I liked this one SO much better than Pyramid, that I might be overrating it a bit on the rebound. But always a joy to see Callahan again... I'm becoming a bigger fan of Jennifer Darling as the series "progressively" continues. ;-)

Is there a safe way to fix a dvd?
We've tried cleaning with some water as I was told to do, this makes no difference.

What the DVD will do, it will freeze, then start playing again minutes later, stop, start and then jump to the last 5 seconds of the DVD?

There is no bad scratches on the DVD, just minor use scratches you get if you play a DVD a lot. Nothing really bad. In a different light, you see no scratches at all.

Is there any possible way to fix these errors? It never use to do this years ago. I did notice it years ago, but decided to play it today and remembered the errors. Years before that it worked fine. The DVD screws up in the last 3 minutes. It doesn't do it to any other part of the dvd, apart from one other minor freezing problem, but that doesn't stop the sound going and fixes itself about 5 seconds later.

I really like this DVD, so it's a shame to miss out on the last 3 minutes of it
